120 Transformation Program - Day 28

DAY 21-28:

This marks my third session and I have some exciting news!! Before my T-shock session started we did measurements and I'm 1.5 inches down after 4 weeks! I am so relieved to see all my hard work starting to pay off. The weight on the scale hasn't changed much, but with doing an In-Body scan at Supplement Superstore it shows that I am 4% body fat down and 3 lbs of muscle gained which are huge results for me. This makes going to the gym everyday and staying on track with my diet worth it.

During the session the technician explained the importance of drinking water and how important it is to exercise after each session for maximum results. After a day of T-shock, Cryotherapy, and infrared sauna I felt like a new woman walking out of the spa. Starting this journey has helped me in so many ways including my weight loss, muscle soreness, sleeping problems and anxiety. If I can stay this consistent until the end of the 120 days, I'll reach my goals in no time.

With Thanksgiving around the corner I'm trying to make a game plan on what I can still eat and not miss out on my favorite dishes. Moderation is key on holidays and special occasions. For Thanksgiving I'm going to eat lots of turkey as my protein and very small amounts of side dishes such as mashed potatoes and stuffing so I can stay on track with my macros. I also am only going to have one plate and not take home any leftovers. Usually I would have two to three plates on Thanksgiving and take home food to eat throughout the week but that's an easy way to pack on extra pounds. 

HOTWORX and the gym is still kicking my butt but I am obsessed with the infrared sauna and all the workouts. My favorite workouts are the HIIT workouts because I can burn 150 calories within 15 minutes. I still have been starting with a 15 HIIT workout and then doing a 45 minute isometric workout right after. The sauna has been helping me detox and is my favorite way to do cardio. My body has been craving it when the weather is cold and rainy outside.

During Thanksgiving week it was hard to get motivation to get to the gym but once I'm there it was smooth sailing. Also seeing progress is helping me stay motivated as well and I want to keep consistent. One of the hardest parts of Thanksgiving was when relatives offered me sweets and I had to limit myself. I have to be honest I had a couple bites of homemade cheesecake but focused on moderation. This 120 transformation has helped me so much with my daily habits and with doing it for 17 weeks it should turn into an entire lifestyle change. Even after the 120 days I still should be conscious of my macros, exercise, and recovery to live a healthier life.
