120 Transformation Program - Day 2

DAY 2:

Today is the day after my first T-shock session and already I can feel the positive effects. I'm full of energy and motivated to keep pushing forward. This is exactly the boost I need to keep going on my journey to success. I'm proud of myself for taking care of my body today by drinking a gallon of water and trying Hotworx for the first time! I’ve definitely noticed I’ve been peeing like crazy after my session but the technician said the only two side effects I might see is that I could be a little red on my stomach for a few hours after my session and I’ll pee more often. Sweat and urine are the key factors in excreting the fat cells and toxins. My plan is to lift weights for strength training 2-3 times a week and use HotWorx as my supplement workout and my cardio 2-3 times a week! I'm a big believer in combining weightlifting and cardio. Weightlifting helps build muscle and strength, while cardio in the infrared sauna  helps to burn calories and reduce body fat. Doing both helps to maximize the benefits of each exercise regime and help with my goals! My favorite HotWorx classes are the Hot Blast which is a 15 minute HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout similar to an upper body elliptical and the Hot Yoga. The Hot Yoga is a 45 minute class and is challenging but lots of fun! HotWorx is a 24 hour infrared fitness studio that has virtual instructors. Typically you get a sauna to yourself which is really nice you don’t have to worry about the anxiety that comes along with regular workout classes. You get to adjust the heat how you like it too and can step out at any time if it starts to feel too warm. I highly recommend giving it a try!

After my workout I stopped by the Supplement Superstore to purchase protein and got an inbody scan. I measured at 36 inches at my first Tshock visit but I also wanted to know my body fat percentage compared to my muscle mass to keep track scientifically too. My body fat percentage was at 41.7% with my muscle mass at 67.5 lbs. One of the nutritionist helped workout a meal plan specifically for me and also helped get me motivated on eating right. My diet is to eat more protein and the least amount of fat as possible. They had me at 170gs of protein, 30gs of fat, and 200 carbs to help build muscle and lose fat. This is where the app MACROSTAX came in handy because it helps me track my macros appropriately and it also gives me new recipe ideas to go along with my macros! I’m very excited to make the 4 ingredient enchiladas! 

My goals for the week are to drink a gallon of water a day, work out at the gym 3 times and Hotworx 2 times, and stay on track with my meal plan and hit my macro goals. This should help me lose body fat and build muscle in no time! With doing all of this self are combined I'm feeling energized and ready to take on the next 119 days!
